Sicilian Death Match were led to their 3.9 point victory by a 27.3 point effort from Peyton Manning, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 364 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 1 rushing yards. With this performance, Manning was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 21.9 point effort from Marques Colston, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 99 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.

"Everyone counted us out before the season started," Sicilian Death Match coach Art Walker said.

Scarlet Knights were helped out in a losing cause by a 22.0 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 331 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 14 rushing yards. They also got help from a 17.0 point effort from Stephen Gostkowski, who snuck past the Arizona Cardinals defense for 4 field goals made and 5 extra points.

"The final score is the only statistic that matters," Scarlet Knights coach George Ralston said.

Compounding the issue, Scarlet Knights could have scored 104.4 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but George Ralston left key players like Kevin Boss and his corresponding 10.6 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Sicilian Death Match to 7-6, and drops Scarlet Knights to a record of 8-5.
