New York Jets:> ....But I call him #*&@#$^!!!!!! The game likely turned on my half time pep talk to the team when I reminded them of the good old days of the American Football League and my being the commissioner. My story of George Blanda went over particularly well, as I detailed how Blanda had led five Raider comebacks with last second TD passes, or field goals, during the 1970 season (Russell complained that we were expecting him to PK). It was unfortunate that the halftime talk lasted so long into the third quarter, but I know best on these things. The fault for the loss is likely your own. Had you retained Weeb Ewbank, as coach, I do not believe your team would have had so much trouble scoring. Weeb and I go way back, you know, to the days when your team was called the Titans (much better name IMO). It was a big mistake letting him go. The day you made this decision I knew you were likely to succumb to my keen eye for talent. The Raider mystic in big games played a big factor in the outcome. As you know, the NFL Raiders, I have compiled, are an ultra talented and high scoring machine capable of huge production at the fantasy level. This year alone, the NFL team has won multiple games already, and that number could approach 4 for the season. Translating that into fantasy production makes us a powerhouse of immense proportions. Anyways, you should not feel frustrated having played in the highest scoring game in Scribe's NFL history (not over yet). I do not have time to lecture you anymore, so just get your wimpy team ready for the off season. Always a good sport, Yours Al Wilbur Ewbank with Titans ![]() George Blanda at 43 years old

New York Jets:> Now you mock us with words! WORDS! The ultimate Naw, words are not so bad. At my age, they are about all that is left. Being the owner of the Raiders, now that is humiliation. ![]() PS: George, please call Al about playing next week
