All,

The playoff seedings have been input. There were a couple of tie that needed to be dealt with. The first was a three-way tie for the two wildcard spots in the National Conference between Minnesota, New Orleans and Arizona. The first tie-breaker was head-to-head, but Minnesota hadn't played either Arizona or New Orleans. New Orleans did beat Arizona 2-1 in that tie-breaker, and New Orleans had the best divisional record (the second tie-breaker) of the three teams, so New Orleans was awarded the first wild card spot and the No. 5 seed. Arizona and Minnesota had identical divisional records, but Arizona had more points scored (the third tie-breaker) was was awarded the second wildcard and sixth seed.
Green Bay and Dallas earned first-round byes.

The other tie was in the American Conference and was a three-way tie between three divisional winners to determine which team would get the second seed and a first round bye. None of the three teams had played the other, all three had identical divisional records. By virtue of the third tie-breaker, the New York Giants scored more points than Miami and Cincinnati and earned the second seed and the first round bye. Miami earned the third seed and Cincinnati the fourth.
The Oakland Raiders have the other first round bye along with the Giants.

Here is the bracket.
